I’m sure you have already seen lots of people wearing knuckle rings. They are kinda a hype at the moment. I’ve always wanted to get some but as I’m trying to use my credit card as little as possible (I have a limit on it and since it’s the only way I will be able to pay in New York, I’m trying to stop the internet shopping), I haven’t so far. Last time, whilst cleaning my room, I discovered some rings I got as a child from my family in Italy and thought that they were perfect knuckle rings (I have never worn them because…well, they are snakes and golden^^) so I gave it a try and liked it a lot. Plus, they remind me of my origins, so it’s a double win :) What do you think?
I probably won’t be blogging for a while now since I’ll be in New York for a week starting from saturday. I’m really excited about it because it’s my first visit to the US!
Take care guys! xx Carmen
The weather has been amazing lately and there’s nothing I like more than going out for drinks in the evening after a hot, sunny day. So this is what I wore the last time I went out for a drink :
Skirt : H&M // Wedges : some no-name brand but really comfy, find similar here // Shirt : H&M // Bag : Louis Vuitton Speedy // Skull Scarf : Alexander McQueen // Sunnies : RayBan Aviator
I honestly wish life could be forever as it is at this very moment. We have a great summer this year and everything is just better when the sun is shining. I spent the whole day at the lake with some friends and a yummie barbecue, just a perfect day!
I hope you had a great weekend, as well! xx Carmen
If you’re a fan of H&M, you probably know this necklace already. I’ve had mine for like a year now and have worn it many times but the colours bored me a bit lately. So I decided to spice things up a bit so that the necklace matches a pair of my favourite earrings. All you need is a nailpolish in the colour you like (mine’s from HEMA).
I’m really happy with how it turned out and can’t wait to wear my new necklace :)
Yesterday was my last day at the bar, which was a bit sad BUT now I’m free to do whatever I want. So today I’m heading with Anne to Luxembourg city and do some shopping (who would have guessed that?^^).
Have a great day, my dear readers!
I finally got a new outfit post for you! What I’m wearing :
Cowboy boots : Beoriginal // Shorts : Zara // Shirt : Tom Tailor // Bag : Alexander Wang // Bracelet : Hipanema // Necklace : Thomas Sabo // Sunnies : RayBan
Today is my final day at the bar. I’m curious about what my days will look like without me having to work every day but I guess I’ll find a way to keep myself occupied (of course, shopping is always an option). Yesterday I booked my flight to London in September, where I will visit a good friend of mine. London is definitely one of my favourite cities in the whole world. But, since I’m going to New York next week, I guess London will get some competition in that ranking. I feel strange about going to NewYork because I can’t really believe that the city really exists (everyone I tell this to says I’m crazy). I mean, you see pictures of NewYork everywhere but in my head, I have a hard time believing that it really does exist. I guess I’ll be proven wrong very soon :)
That’s it from me for now, I’m gonna head to the bank to get my euros exchanged for dollars (shit’s getting serious!). Have a nice day guys!
Today I wanted to show you something that has been on my wishlist for quite a while now : the Tory Burch wrap bracelet. I guess most of you guys know Tory Burch and if you like her stuff, you should definitely put this item on your wishlist, as well!
I only have exactly one week to go until I can finally (after 4 weeks of internship followed by 6 weeks work at the bar!!) enjoy my holidays again. Yesterday evening I did my inscription at the Strasbourg University, so this means that I’m lucky enough to spend another year (actually, it’s only one semester) in my beloved city and see my people there (I miss you so much, girls!).
Now I’m off to work (I’m still hoping to get the day off since it’s pouring with rain outside)
Have a nice one,
Today will be one of the very few very hot days in Luxembourg. I’m lucky to have to work tonight so we’ll be spending the afternoon with a barbecue at the lake. I’m really looking forward to it. But I’m gonna have to hurry now, just wanted to post quickly the outfit I’ll be wearing today!
Swim suit : Hunkemöller // Pants : Zara // Crop top : Wildfox
Here are some of the photos that were shot at our annual Gala de Droit at the Schengen castle. The photographer who did this amazing job is Paul-Nicolas Baumann (find his website here). If you’re looking for all of the photos, you should check out our website, but be patient with me guys, the uploading takes up a lot of my time and since I’m super busy at the moment, I do the upload like 5 pics a day, but I’m getting there!
This week we had the assemblée générale of our association and now I’m not an official member of the committee anymore. This makes me somehow sad because the past two years were an amazing experience but at one point it just didn’t make any sense to participate to me anymore.
Now I’m gonna have to hurry, my shift at the bar starts soon (only 2 more weeks to go!). Take care, guys!
May I present : The Oxford shoe. I’ve fallen completely for this shoe, even though I’m under the impression that it’s one of those shoes guys don’t like at all (just like ugg boots). But one of the perks of being single is that you can buy and wear all the things you want without having to argue with your boyfriend. I haven’t gotten to do some outfit photos with the shoes yet, but I’ve already posted a few pictures on instagram with those babies.
Up next on my wishlist are definitely glitter oxford shoes! What do you think about this shoe? I think you either hate it or you love it, there’s nothing in between :)
I’ve been browsing through what felt like a hundred websites for pumps with golden cuffs and just couldn’t find the perfect ones. That’s the problem with knowing exactly what you want : you have a hard timing finding something that lives up to your expectations. At one point I gave up and got another idea : I bought some golden anklets on ebay (find some here) and bought some simple coral coloured pumps. And voilà, I got the result I was aiming for!
Another upside is that you can easily combine them with other shoes and pimp up your heels a bit!
